Amelie the movie

Unfortunately too late, I noticed the French movie "Amelie" starring Audrey Tautou is on now on HBO in this country on the east coast.

The song was based on the movie. The movie came out in 2011. The song came out in 2013.

This was half the reason I got HBO MAX so I could finally watch it. I couldn't find it anywhere else. It's a great movie, and I've started binge watching Audrey Tautou's other works

It's a fantastic movie. I can't believe I waited so long to watch it, having known about the song first. I think I first watched it in 2015. It was not quite what I expected, it was better :)

If there's anyone who hasn't watched it yet, I would definitely recommend

It is indeed a few years in between but rather in 2001 and 2003

The movie she made with Tom Hanks was "The Da Vinci Code." That film grossed $224 million in its worldwide opening weekend, and made a total of $760 million worldwide!

When doing a Google search about "Amelie," this is some information that can be found:

"Amélie" is a fanciful comedy about a young woman who discretely orchestrates the lives of the people around her, creating a world exclusively of her own making. Shot in over 80 Parisian locations, acclaimed director Jean-Pierre Jeunet ("Delicatessen"; "The City of Lost Children") invokes his incomparable visionary style to capture the exquisite charm and mystery of modern-day Paris through the eyes of a beautiful ingenue."
So the fact it was shot in over 80 Parisian locations is very interesting for poeple who like Paris.

From Wikipedia;
"The film met with critical acclaim and was a major box-office success. Amélie won Best Film at the European Film Awards; it won four César Awards (including Best Film and Best Director), two BAFTA Awards (including Best Original Screenplay), and was nominated for five Academy Awards. Grossing over $33 million in limited theatrical release, it is still the highest-grossing French-language film released in the United States."
