Yes, you are right him being re-elected would be based on how good of a President he is. I was basing it on the fact that the last two Presidents who won by such landslide Ronald Regan & Bill Clinton easily won re-election.

government created businesses usually end up costing the people just cause they are funded by the Government. Where does this money come from? tax payers

Well, Obama will not create government businesses but he will do several things. He is working on a major stimulus package to jump start the economy, will reduce taxes for the middle class and businesses, and invest in rebuilding our infrastructure which will create more construction jobs, which is good news for you.

He actually has whole plethora of economic policies that he want’s to instill that you could check out on his website as well as other policies I don’t feel entertained enough to go into.

you don't hear some of the true stuff that happens in Iraq

I would disagree. Now, you need to know something about me dude, and that is I actually am a Conservative on a lot of issue & can identify with a lot of things Republican. But when I look at Bush I don’t see a true conservative. Ultimately what is conservatisms? It is supposed to be about having small government, low taxes, balancing the budget, and reducing the debt. Bush is exactly the opposite on all accounts. He had record budget deficits, spent money like a socialists, racked up $5 trillion dollars in debt more than all the Presidents combined, he had the biggest expansion of the government since WWII. Whereas if you look at Clinton he reduced the national debt, had balanced budget, promoted small government, in other words he was more of a conservative that Bush! Who is going to pay for $5 trillion dollars in debt that Bush racked up? It’s going to be me, you and future generations. We are going to pay because of his screw ups! There are a lot of Conservatives who are pissed off at Bush because of his record spending and racking up so much debt. And I don’t even want to get into the Iraq war, a war a vast majority of American disagree with and war that Obama said, “Never should have been authorized”. Aside from the fact that a lot of people got killed, $3 trillion of our money was wasted in a foreign country like Iraq instead of using it here in America. While come you didn’t see this much hate towards other Republican Presidents like the first Bush or Ronald Regan. Maybe because Ronald Regan & the first Bush were pragmatic not Ideologues. Bush and the neo-cons took the country so off course not only in foreign policy wise but in economic policy there was a huge Backlash against the Bush and the Republican. That’s why they lost by such a landslide. Just look at the Senate, Democrats have 58 seats, much more than they need. I didn’t even include the Senate race that is still going on Minnesota where the Republican incumbent is going against comedian Al Franken. When you have a party that is struggling to win against a comedian for seat in the Senate, than you know your party is in the gutter.

I sure hope for the sake of the Republican party that they return to the Ronald Regan & the first Bush type of party not just for it’s sake but for the country as well.
And I would also like to add the reason that Obama won by landslide is because A LOT of Republicans got fed up with the Republicans and voted for Obama. There is no way Obama would have won by such landslide if he didn’t have millions of Republicans who voted for him.
I would also like to add that I forgot to say in my other post and that is I actually agree with a lot of John McCain said prior to him running. I just disagree with the manner in which he ran his campaign, I, like a lot of others, lost a great deal of respect as the campaign went on. Having said that, the election is over now & Obama won. I applaud McCain for, what I think, was a very classy concession speech.
