Exactly. You have to remember that she's been performing some of these songs for over eight years, now. I suspect the reorchestrations were undertaken to keep them fresh not just for her audience, but for
her, as well as to better reflect the person she's grown up to become in the interim. Some artists just stop performing the early songs in their catalogue altogether. Personally, I think this is a pretty good compromise.
I'd actually love to have studio recordings of all the "new" versions, especially Moi Lolita and JPVA (the bassline for which I've had stuck in my head for days)!
