She first received the nickname "Apple Girl" or "iPhone Girl" after she sang along to songs like Beyonce’s Irreplaceable and Lady Gaga’s Pokerface and other tunes through an iPhone song application (videos were posted on YT). Later she was chosen through an audition at KBS, and since then Kim Yeo Hee has been busy promoting her new album, and even has her own iPhone application now ;-)
