Finding out that for one particular essay, I received the highest grade in the class for it. T'was a timed writing (a.k.a. a mere fraction of the time of a take-home essay, with a prompt three times as hard).
In nearly illegible penmanship, "Great job, your examples were both stunning and compelling. Like I told the class before, it's always [effective](I think, I can't read it) to draw from life experience"
