Sleeping without blanket is next to impossible for me. I feel very uncomfortable when I'm not covered up properly before sleeping. Other people find it bit odd because blankets are never used during hot summers of India.

Same here! This is also why I blast the air conditioning during summers. It wouldn't have to be turned on so intensely if I didn't have a big blanket on me during my sleep time.

It's more of a security thing for me, I think. There were a few times where I was so tired that I fell asleep without a blanket on me. I had nightmares. I tend to have nightmares when I sleep without a blanket.
