I'm in NY as well...this has been on the news nonstop all day today. They've already evacuated a lot of people in areas like Rockaway where it's close to the oceans and such. People have been filling up on gas so much that most stations here state that they only have premium/super left. This might be a marketing ploy though, who knows?
I think I'm in a slightly safer area, although I'll probably still get flooding. I hope it weakens by the time it actually gets here.
