Hello.
I have studied French on and off for about a year solid now, but I am still very insecure when it comes to the grammatical rules; whether I should use 'C'est' or 'Il est' (
Tutorial for the actual thing that I read) and things of the like are merely a chance to me. I'll cut right to the chase, I have been writing a little bit of an "essay" on France, if you so wish, because I would consider the best way to practice grammar is in a text. However, I am off-school because of a schedule where I am going to be working nights and it would put too much strain on me to do both, so my teacher is to no aid here. I am hoping some linguistic or native-French person would be able to tell me where I've done wrong in the following little paragraph (I started on it recently, I will expand it as the days go).
