Jeez, struck a nerve did I?
No it doesn't affect me, but all I'm saying is there are more important issues feminists can spend their time on besides whether or not to be able to call someone "Mademoiselle" on a document. What about the women forced into sexual slavery in other parts of the world? Or others that aren't even allowed to be seen outside the home without a man? Don't you think that is a more pressing issue than whether or not a woman might be called "available" on a legal document?
That is all I was trying to say.
