Default Idea!!

So I had this epiphany. You know how rappers these days rap, right? Well maybe you've heard of Skylar Grey? She's the lady who comes up with all the catchy in between moments.

Like she wrote:

"I'm comin' home, I'm comin' home, tell the world I'm comin' home, let the rain, wash away..."

"Just gonna stand there and watch me burn, well that's all right..."

Most of the catchy stuff, ya know?

Now take the above and add the following: Well recently I'm sure you've heard that over played Flo Rida song, 'Good Feeling.' If you've been to a frat house, it's unavoidable.

Or maybe not! But maybe you've heard the T-Pain song, 'Five O'Clock." Listen closely! Who's that singing?

Why, it's our good friend, Lily Allen. What's she doing on a T-Pain song!? I'll tell you what...promoting. T-Pain was not the original purpose of this song.

So what am I getting at?

These ladies never had the intent of writing hip-hop/rap. Nevertheless, when going got tough, they sold the rights to some of their lyrics so that Eminem and Flo Rida could rap (wrap) lyrics around it. Thus making one more Top 40 song for the books.

Whether you like these songs or not, you have to admit, they had quite a welcome. Lily Allen, not ever targeting the US now well known thanks to T-Pain. Skylar Grey, not known, trying to make it in the US market, selling her genius to famous rappers who can't come up with a hook.

Now let's apply the above to our beloved Alizée. She's having some problems. Not as popular as she was way back when. All I'm saying is have a pop star hook her chorus up with some fresh verses and presto, a hit. Along with the publicity in the US as well as most Europe.

I leave it to someone to remix her into a few songs to see how it goes. Maybe, lucky us, someone will pick her up.

That is all.
