This thread is a forum metaphor for a tattoo. No matter how hard you try to hide it, sooner or later it pops out on top. And when it does, it gets a lot of attention. Then we get bored, and eventually it rolls off the front page. But it's still there....lurking....waiting....for just the right time...and Boom! Back on top...getting attention.
