Oklahoma, a wonderful state, and I truly adore “Okies”, but, after 15 years, or so, here, it may be time to “ leave”, and soon. For years I would drive from Dallas to Illinois through Indian Territory in eastern Oklahoma to bypass the cities. Beautiful country with lots and lots (and lots) of open spaces, except for the occasional gas station with a casino in the back.
I'm not sure how you ended up there, but I'm sure it quite a culture shock.
Do you still have your citizenship intact in Scotland? In your posts you seem quite homesick.
