Alizee had taken some English classes when she started working with Mylene, and she has sung songs in English, but I don't think she can hold a conversation in English. The French have occupied Corsica for quite some time now and French is taught in the schools, so your best bet is communicating with her in French. However, if you bump into her someday and Greg is there, I hear Greg can speak English quite well.
Based on the history of Corsica, it is closer tied to Italy than France. Alizee has a Mediterranean look to her. Depending on where you live in Italy, you might be closer to Alizee than mainland France.
