Just kidding, but not really.
I am more attractive to water activities, both on and under. By the time I was 16, I was a PADI certified advanced scuba diver. The "rules" said you must be 16 years old to get certified, but I guess I looked over 16 at the time so I was never questioned.
Back then (in the 70's), getting certified was pretty rigorous and you had to essentially memorize the decompression tables. On the deep end of a pool, your class is underwater with your eyes closed, and randomly the instructors would sneak behind someone and rip the regulator from your mouth and tear your mask off. You would have to learn to handle emergency situations without dying.
Nowadays anybody can go to the Caribbean and take an hour class boatside and they let you scuba dive with no prior experience or testing. I'm surprised there hasn't been more accidents than what there is.
