It would be useful to analyze these two things separately.

1) Facial features--- what is about the shape of Alizee's nose, her jawline, her cheekbones, her eyes, and so on, that makes Alizee's face so pretty and so beautiful????

2) Facial expression--- what is it about Alizee's ability to pose in front of a camera??? In particular, what is it about Alizee's ability to create a certain "look" in her eyes when she is looking straight at the camera???

With regards to (2), imagine another girl who, like Alizee, is very pretty--- but who is average in her ability to pose for the camera. Imagine a picture of this girl side-by-side with a picture of Alizee. This other girl smiles sweetly and endearingly at the camera-- in the photo, she looks like a nice girl, but nothing really stands out about the photo. Alizee also smiles sweetly and endearingly at the camera--- but in the photo of Alizee, there seems to be a sparkle in Alizee's eyes, as if Alizee is looking right at you.

We can then further divide this into two questions:

1) In a purely photographic sense, what is a "sparkle" in the eyes??? In other words, by looking at the two photographs, can we determine exactly what is happening in the eye region of Alizee's face that is not happening in the eye region of the other girl's face???

and then...

2) How does Alizee do it??? How is Alizee able to consciously command the voluntary muscles in the eye region of her face so as to produce the "sparkle", whereas the other girl is apparently not able to do the same???

My point is that Alizee is doing *something*. There is something that Alizee is doing which produces the "sparkle" in her eyes-- the sparkle that gives the appearance that she is looking right at you. I don't fully understand it, but at the same time its not magic--- there is a science behind what Alizee is doing.

Enough said.
I adore this kind of analysis.

It is really similar to what happens in Formula 1. 90% of the work is done by the car, BUT it is that remaining 10% that makes all the difference. And that 10% is obviously the driver. You can put 2 different drivers on the same car (the beauty of Alizée and the other nice girl) but there will always be a winner and the loser (and by the way Alizée has always the best car).

What you said is correct: there is science behind what Alizée is doing. Science is behind everything. The fact is that we don't fully understand science. Or, to be more precise, science is just the model of what we understand of nature. And scientific models are, by definition, imperfect and approximate.
And what is one of the field that we understand the less (is "the less" grammarly correct here? Lol): human mind.
Some say love is just a plethora of electric connections between our cells. Well, it is true. But we all know that this is not the answer we're looking for.
All this to say that I don't think we can understand ''Alizée's enigma code" the way we would like to. We all know that Alizée isn't "Alizée" for everyone. So we should analyze not only her, but all the people that feel those strong feelings towards her. So the fact is that Alizée isn't doing just something, but she is doing something to someone.
I agree with what you have said, but in my opinion we can't say nothing more than "Alizée has something or is doing something". It is impossible to define that "something" (at least, I think so). Obviously we can make some hypothesis but I don't think we can find an answer.
I like to see it this way: we are all like puzzle pieces. Alizée is the one that matches us. Why does Alizée do it to so many people? The possibilities to consider:

-Everything is happening in our mind. Millions of minds. We don't know who is actually Alizée. She could be a serial killer from what we know;
-Alizée has something magical. Maybe the same kind of magic that 2000 years ago made people say "Look it's raining. Jupiter must be sad".
I hope I've been clear. I adore this philosophical discussion, but this kind of things is difficult to explain.

Is it a rethorical question? I didn't understand xd
Anyway I'll partially answer: i saw from those performances that she had something. So I began to follow her and here I am trying to understand what that "something" is

What if Emma Watson had the exact mannerisms of Alizee??

What if in photos there was a "sparkle" in Emma Watsons's eyes, as if Emma Watson is looking right at you in every single photo you see of her--- just like Alizee?

For that matter, what if it was Emma Watson in En Concert, performing with the exact same mannerisms, facial expressions and physical grace as Alizee?? What kind of impression would Emma Watson make on you versus Alizee???
.
To be honest, I don't know. I've had some "crushes" before Alizée, but nothing like what I'm experiencing now. I've found that sparkle (and much, much more) only in her. That's why I'm so confused.

Since what you said can't be demonstrated, I'll answer by using what I know from other fields.

Let's put two artists instead of Alizée and Emma Watson (my Emma Watson will be Barbara Palvin lol) and let them "work" on the same thing.
They can be two painters that draw the same landscape or two singers that sing the same song or what you want. I think that you've grasped what I'm saying... There is a big difference between two singers or two painters. A difference that is strictly connected to your feelings and to those artists' way to be.

But obviously this is just a theory I made starting from a different topic. I don't know. I think no one know. My answer is that only Alizée can be Alizée. Is there someone "better" than her (for me/us)? Maybe. For now I see no one.
