I attended the performance in Strasbourg. Absolutely lovely!

Videos of the first few stops (Amneville, Strasbourg, Dijon) have hit the various social media sites. I am surprised how many negative comments I see (particularly on Facebook, although I know that's a cesspool anyway). People saying "She doesn't look/sound/dance like she did before!"

Newsflash: I don't look or sound like I did in 2003 either! But nobody at the show seemed to care - we were all too busy singing along and having a good time! She said (I believe in Amneville?) that the reason she came back to doing live shows was because of the messages from fans - I hope the positive reaction in the media bolsters her, and she doesn't get dragged down by the negative junk.

PS: I'm also pretty sure the guy behind me on the flight from Frankfurt back to London gave me his cold, but if that's the price I had to pay, it's worth it
