Mini Cooper's are built for racing, the PT's are not. Mini's are also rated safer than the PT's do to them being built at racing specs. Anyone who hasn't should get on MINI.com and check out all the Mini's can do. The breaking system alone on those cars are unbelievably cool. Their are three different breaking systems on each wheel.
If you enter a turn and the car thinks you want make the turn it will slow the engine down automaticly (whether you let off the throttle or not), reduce the torq, apply the breaks how it sees fit, and stiffen the steering to allow you to remain in complete control. These cars are amazing.
You can also get them with a "turbo" button that when activated stiffens the steering, the throttle, and adjust the breaking system to allow you to do more at higher speeds, and remain as safe as possible.
