At one point I moved the part in my bangs from the left to the right because that's how Steve Jobs used to do it. In fact, I still part my hair from the right. I also started exclusively wearing jeans because of him, and bought some black corduroy button-up shirts because that's what he started wearing at keynotes. Guess what? I still only wear jeans, and those shirts are my favourites.
Now, I'm not about to start taking on Alizée's hair styles (that would be creepy). I'm also not going to start wearing the clothes that she does (that would be creepy and painful), but there are things that are happening because of her. For example, Amélie is my favourite movie. Though it's probably simply because it's such a great movie, I probably love it even more because Alizée loves it too. I also would like French to be my primary language one day, and am working towards that. There are all sorts of personality traits of Lili that I'm trying to take on, because people feel a strange connection with those that they're fans of, and they try to be like those people.
I'm sure everyone here can find at least one thing that they do because one of their heroes did it.

I have tried to be more outgoing like Lili is. She helps me to overcome stage fright. I am in a speech class, and I have to give a lot of speeches and I am required to be in a play at Christmas. Before every speech I remind myself that if Lili can sing in front of thousands I can give a speech in front of thirty.
Also, I want French to become my primary language one day. I love the French language, and I prefer the language to English. Something about this language has always captivated me more than any other language I have come in contact with, including my own. Sometimes I watch English movies with the French language track, because I love to listen to the French language.
I have changed some of my habits. I have tried to do things the French way. The French have an amazing way of doing things at the diner table, and I have tried to adopt these dining habits. I look at things differently now. I don't look at things from an American view point anymore.
Lili has changed me in so many ways.
