This is what I think it's about.
I believe the purpose of this even in Corsica is to raise money for supplies and food for the Sport and Youth center of Corsica.
The National Union of School Sport ( UNSS ) is the French federation of school sports of the second degree . Multisports, it is open to all young schoolchildren and high school students through the sports associations
The UNSS is the third largest sporting federation in France (after football and tennis ), with 983,149 (2012) 9 , 40% of whom are girls 10 from secondary schools (23.70% of the total number Of students).
The school sport seeks to highlight the educational value of sport to develop the practice of sports activities , components of physical education and sports (EPS) and learning of associations by students who have adhered to Sports associations (AS) of the second level.
Looks like there is another local group, Corsica that is, that I'm guessing is part of this UNSS.
