I remember precisely what i was doing when i 'discovered' Alizee (or she discovered me). It was on another forum and a French girl was using her pic as an avatar. A few emails later and the rest is history.
I didn't for one minute imagine that my heart and soul could be taken twice in a really short space of time. But it's happened.
I nearly always have a look at the 'Other Music and Videos' thread and have discovered some gems. Just a few days ago Criss_pl posted a video of Ewa Farna. I loved it. Really loved it. Some Youtubing later and well...you get the idea.
Ms. Farna is just 16 years old and is from a Polish speaking region of the Czech Republic. She has released 3 albums (2 studio and 1 live) and for the last few days i have begged, borrowed or stolen all of them. And if you think getting ahold of French CD's is difficult, just wait until you try the Czech Republic
You really owe it to yourself to give her a chance. I don't think that you will be disapointed. She's not unlike Alizee in some ways but her sound and look is a bit more Avril Lavinge/Kelly Clarkson (only much much better).
Things have gotten so bad that today i've booked a trip to Prague in December to see her live.
