Yeah, you could definitely do that as well, though it might not be
as neat.
Though cardboard would allow you to customize the rest of the board as you please.
*also, as a note to anyone who does want to use a monopoly board, it has to be a REAL monopoly board, not the "make your own opoly" board. It won't fit, don't even try
