Technically no image is ever truly anyone's.
Alizée's "Current" image is influenced from many other people.
Her old image is influenced from Mylène, where in turn took her influence from others as well.
Considering origin of a style is hard to determine and often never able to be done, the presentation of a style plays the role.
Old Alizée was still Alizée because she was the one presenting the style, New Alizée is still Alizée because she's still presenting the style.
