I should have mentioned before that the set I got from Amazon Canada included a BluRay disc and a DVD. I watched the BluRay version. I never learned about BD regions before, but I did today. There are three regions for them, A, B, and C. The disc included with the set I bought was labeled ABC so it will play in all regions.
I agree with Jenny, that the French edition DVD will be Region 2.

YES! That was strange, but I have learned to see the Nyx character as Alizée so in the end it was no problem.
