I stumbled upon that a while ago, I thought it was pretty cool.

I don't remember where, but I also saw something that compared the individual Elder Scroll maps to the entire Tamriel map, and how each game's land fits with the others almost perfectly in both shape and size.

Skyrim's map is correctly sized and shape in proportion to Oblivion's, and Oblivion's to Morrowind.

The only exception is Daggerfall's (I think) map, which was correctly shaped but the irl size was something like 30x (number I completely pulled out of my ass, but a dwarfing number nonetheless) the size Tamriel should be taking measurements from the above three games.
