Maybe. I've heard Alizée's ability to sing live called under question in the past. She may be more nervous now. She has to silence her critics and she has a lot more riding on making this career comeback successful because she’s in charge and making the decisions now. When she was 15 it was an adventure for her and she probably didn't really feel that her whole career could turn on that one moment. The bravery that comes with youth.
I think being out of circulation for 3 years doesn’t help. If she had been working and performing in public for the last 3 years, she would have 3 more years of professional experience under her belt. I’m not questioning her decision to do that, I’m just saying that she has to be prepared for the consequences that go along with that decision.
I think she will get herself back up to speed. It's a daunting task to make it in the music business, but she has the raw talent, the desire and a quality that just draws people to her.
