What follows is some analysis of the data:

Instagram
Alizée - was running 92 adds/day prior to DALS.
Alizée - was running 148 adds/day in the week prior to DALS Week1.
Alizée - this increased to 540+ adds/day in the middle of DALS.
Alizée - jumped to 1,805 in the week after she won DALS.
Alizée - calmed to 202 adds/day prior to the NRJ awards.
Alizée - increased to 315 adds/day for the week after the NRJ awards.
Alizée - calmed to 143 adds/day the following week.
Alizée - increased to 229 adds/day for the week after the Line TV appearance (Single Lady).

Clearly, TV is key to Alizée. She must stay in the public eye in a big way to generate interest.

Twitter

Alizée - calmed to 350 adds/day the following week.

Similar pattern to Twitter.

Everybody loves a winner.

It seems that the audience reacts best to her energetic dances what some of her personality shines through. I rememeber that, in week 6 (tango & flamenco), she simply did not shine (at least not in the same way as, for example, week 1).

Either that, or there was simply a mid-DALS sag. I remeber feeing the same way - in Week 6 DALS simply seemed to be "getting old." I was concerned that interest might have peaked, but then Week 7 came along and Alizée was at her best with the Charleston.

I was going to do Tal as well but I ran out of time. In essence, Tal's pattern is very different. Although DALS did give her a boost, she already had very good momentum going in to DALS, and has maintained it since. TV does not seem to boost her as much (possibly because she is already reaching her target group - just a guess).
