I don't want to sound a killjoy and please someone correct me if i'm wrong but isn't January traditionally a bad month for entertainment releases ? I thought this was true of films as well as music and less commercial products are almost buried away in this month as sales suffer post-Christmas.I know in the UK that the main reason the BRIT awards are held Feb/Mar time is precisely for the purpose of boosting music sales after the post-Christmas lull.
If this is the case then maybe a Spring release
would be better as after the perceived commercial faliure of Pscyhedelices ( I liked it ! ) I hope this album is given every chance of being successful.Having said all of that if it is to be an experimental album then maybe it will find a niche market whenever it's released.
Whenever it is released either way I'm excited
