Default A drive through Chantecoudert.

On my recent trip to Europe, during my days in Tours, I decided to drive down to the town of Oradour-sur-Glane, a trip of about 120 miles. I just plugged the name of the town into the gps on my rental car and off I went. About 7 miles from Oradour, it led me down a narrow road through the town of Chantecoudert. The road got narrower and narrower. Now I had a feeling as soon as it turned into a dirt road, that it was probably the wrong way, but it was such a scenic drive and I had such great music to listen to, I decided to stick it out for a while. Eventually, I had to turn back.

After I turned back, I met that woman I had passed earlier and I told her how the gps had led me down this road and we both had a good laugh. She gave me directions on how to get to Oradour-sur-Glane. Silly her! I didn't need them, I had gps.

That night, I made it back in time to watch on tv, Alizée win the French version of Dancing with the Stars.
