Don't assume that the French dislike the USA or the American people. It's all about Bush's politics only. There's no American bashing in France like the French bashing in the USA. You won't hear about boycott, renaming American stuff or anything like that here. You may hear lots bad things about Bush's government and political views but that's all about it. Nothing against the average American.

I can't tell you about Alizée's opinions of course. If you really want to imagine something special in Alizée about the USA, for me the only thing possible
could be her thinking that she'll have no luck and even have troubles there because of the serious French bashing. BUT note that she's never been heard saying that. Just an idea...
