Thanks for the much informative post. I appreciate it very much. I will write more on this later, but just got done listening to Psychédélices again, as it has been a while. I really like the song Décollage. It's a catchy, "hip-hop" dance song. Her voice sounds more like a chipmunk in that song than anything, but it's different and kind of cool. My oldest son was 22 in 2007, and him and his friends was really into electronic dance and going to clubs to dance and watch the DJs. If the concept of the entire album was more towards dance music, she might have had a chance in the US at that time. She had a great look that would appeal to the target audience. Just a thought.
