I've heard people who have turned down nominations in the past have wound up feeding the fishes if you know what I mean....
It will be interesting to see what kind of opening event they have. It could be something simple with drinks and snacks to begin with, then getting down to dancing business in the afternoon. But I think it will be much bigger than that. I think there will be several people there from the 'industry', such as some of Gregoire's fellow professional dancers, some people from DALS such as Chris Marques, Jean-Marc Généreux and Marie-Claude Pietragalla and I think Patrick Fiori would definitely go if he has the chance. I'm sure other singers would go too that Alizee has met with over the years if and this is the key issue, if they're not commited to something else. It could be everybody has commitments in which case it's back to plan A, but I think this will be a big day there.
