Is there any French language groups in the area. I ran across this one here in Pittsburgh
Meet Up/French Lessons. So far I haven't attempted to contact them until I get some time into my Rosetta Stone (after the 1st) and get a little understanding of the language before joining the group and trying to improve my conversation skills. After your report on Corsica I don't want to hit the ground there as a clueless American when it comes to my French language skills.
Scruffydog, I'd bet there are groups like this in the larger cities all over the country.
Do we have any members from the Canadian Province of Quebec on the board? There has to be more than a few French language radio stations in the area.
