Yes It is Funny that some people have come up with an ETF that Mirrors Pelosi's stock buys and sells; as she gets the briefings in congress before we do !
The only stocks I have noticed lately are META Which Zucherburg is making money off of ( I guess he sells people's information from it who subscribe to it ? I don't as I try to stay away from the social media ! ) I do have 2 shares I bought sometime I forget when; but it is seemingly overpriced at about $580. It does pay a nice dividend of 50 cents though and it is going up now ?
Another stock starting to go up is Buffett's favorite OXY which is in the green lately and pays a dividend of 22 cents, I think. I haven't bought any of it because it was down for a while !
The rest of the stocks are either down or I haven't had time to go over them !
I am trying to accumulate some cash; so I am not buying anything right now !

Good day in the market today - new jobs numbers came in better than expected, and the port strike has been temporarily averted. Positive numbers across my portfolio.

There are advances seemingly in everything.
Long lasting Batteries.
Fast recharging systems.
revamped gasoline engines which are non-polluting.
Hydrogen car engines.
Hydrogen recharging modules.
Cancer Cures.
local Nuclear engines and systems.
etc.
so that one hardly knows where to invest ?
You might end up with your house running on a mini-nuclear engine and you can kiss the electric company goodbye ! Ha !
So if they come up with long-lasting batteries or fast re-chargers then electric vehicles might make a come-back ?
There is always a big splurg about these advances, but then they seem to Disappear ?

Nuclear small-scale is going to be a game changer for datacenters and the like. I don't see it taking off for homes, perhaps excepting the well-and-truly remote, like Alaska.

The big thing in electric cars, I think, is swappable batteries. Fast charging is hard on the batteries, but if you can swap fast, you can then charge slow. China does this with their taxis.

I hope for a cure for cancer (having experienced it myself), but I feel like we've been "10 years away" for 30 years now.

I am concerned at how bad the market's going to get tomorrow - regardless of who wins, I suspect it'll be rough sailing for a few days. I try to avoid bringing politics into this place (lord knows, I need somewhere that I can go to get away from it!).
