![]() The market is messed up since the Election; so I can't recommend anything, except to keep some of your money in Cash or a high paying savings account ! In this way you cover yourself for any emergencies. The O REIT is good because it regularly pays a monthly dividend; however even in that I would not keep all of my money now ! Until things even out and chaos ceases one has to be careful; at least in the US !

![]() I keep my portfolio divided between long-term ETF holdings, bonds, some cash and (more recently) more EU/Asian market exposure. Not sure if it's the right way, but it feels good, and it's diverse enough to protect me from temporary blips. Of course, I'm looking on a longer time scale (30+ years) so even a real ass-kicking is just temporary, if I was needing the money in the next few years, I'd be much more cautious.
(Note: I am not a financial advisor - if you follow my advice and make money, good for you, if you follow my advice and lose money, c'est pas ma faute à moi...)
