CD French Courses
Here are my reviews of two very good french CD courses
Michel Thomas An 8 hour course that involves no writing or memorising :P You just sit there, listen, pause, and repeat! It's actually not that easy but it is a very unique way of learning, and though it doesn't bring you to fluency, as no tapes or cds do really, it does give you a good grounding on pronounciation and speaking french Pimsleur Pimsleur is a man who was devoted to teaching languages and believed that to learn something we must hear it and repeat it after 5 seconds, 1 minute, 5 mins, 1 hour, 1 day, a week, a month, 3 months, a year or something along those lines Anyways it's 90 thirty minute lessons that you do one a day and boom!! ........ u've competence in french :P Personally I recommend doing michel thomas then pimsleur so you'll be grand =D and by right it should only take like...4 months? Enough time for alizee's tour to really kick off Michel thomas can be getting off play.com, amazon or whereever really Pimsleur is like.....600$ However a friend of a friend told me that his friend heard off his hairdresser who got it off her dog walker they these courses might be around the net as torrents :| shock horror......... Anyway happy learning =D |
