Whoo hoo, got my MCE
I just received my copy of MCE this afternoon!! I ordered it from some Amazon reseller last week, they shipped it Media Mail (presumably via some 3rd party shipping company that puts it in the mailstream close to me). They stuck it in the mail stream in a city 45 miles away on Tuesday, but they should have known that all Media Mail in this region goes to the next state for processing and then comes back, so.....anyway, the wait is over.
I appear to have ended up with the French edition. I didn't realize that it doesn't have any of the English versions on it. (Not that I really like the English versions, but...) I guess I couldn't really tell from Amazon whether it was the International version or the French one, but to be honest I wasn't really looking when I made the purchase. Anyway, now I'm waiting for Gourmandises and the DVD....!

i forgot which one my CDs it was, but i ordered her 3 albums from tower records website and one of them had a made in germany sticker on it. i think it was gourmandises. the MCE and en concert CDs say it was made in EU.

I finally went to Amazon.fr to order the 2 albums today, and was only able to order MCE. No new copies of Gourmandises were available and the ones from vendors couldn't ship to the U.S. Grrr.
Oh, well, got it from Ebay. I guess if French companies don't want my business . . . BTW the exchange rate dollar/Euro sucks swampwater.

Sorry for the post flood.
I saw a website with several of the maxi-singles for sale in the US: http://www.cdimportplus.com/ priceminister.com apparently doesn't ship to the US, so despite their rather large selection, that's all moot, right? (I even saw a marshmallow pillow Gourmandises on there for 300 Euros.)
