Default Something Alizée Might Like

I know how much Alizée likes Tinkerbell. I saw this on Facebook, and immediately thought of her and wondered if this necklace with Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, and the Darling kids would be something she’d get a kick out of.

She probably would love it. Her dad got one many years ago of Peter Pan, so with her having one of Tinkerbell, it'd be very appropriate.

Thankyou As CleverCowboy hinted at, have we ever bought her a Birthday present on behalf of AAm in the past?
If not, I know we've still done presents for Maggy and the A&G marriage. And though a BD present sounds interesting it might diminish the sense of occasion from gifts we've sent for rarer occasions as mentioned above.
Though on the other side of it, it could be a long time until such an event comes up, I guess we don't know, maybe it would be a good thing to keep in touch on an annual basis in the form of a gift or simply a card.
In terms of big occasions in her personal life, the only ones I can think of at the moment are milestone wedding anniversaries which are few and far between, and potentially the birth of a new child but who knows if/when that'll happen.

No other occasions except for the birth of Maggy and the wedding.

I used the winking emoji because I wasn't really serious when I made the comment. If we send Alizee a birthday gift, then she will expect a present from us under her Christmas tree as well.

I wasn't a member of this forum when AAm sent the wedding gift, but from the experience with the baby gift, sending a physical item to a foreign country is expensive and has red tape. The best route is to order something from Amazon France for a recipient within France.

I suppose so, we'll probably just have to be patient until the right time comes up. I'm sure Alizee doesn't mind at all and is very appreciative with whatever we send. Having a sense of obligation to send something every year will likely make it feel less special and less of a surprise.
I wonder if there are any other events that could present themselves other than the ones already mentioned, I'm not sure what though. Is the 5th year of a wedding anniversary considered a significant milestone? If so that's next year, might be a bit too soon. I suspect 10 years will definitely be one to celebrate however that's 6 years from now, they might've had another child by then but we have no idea what to expect in that department.

One of the reasons that we chose to wait on the baby gift until after the new year was because we did not want our gift delivered to her in the middle of all the excitement and attention surrounding the newly born Maggy and the holiday season.

I like the idea of us sending her a gift one day "just because". No special event, milestone or holiday needed. We collectively put together a message that we love and appreciate her, and so on. It's happened to me and I know it happens to others, when you get a call or a card or a gift from somebody out of the blue that happens to catch you on a down day, and it picks up your spirits.

Maybe we can randomly send one next year.

According to the particular site that necklace is on, they ship worldwide for $4.95. It's kind of hard to believe, but that is the claim.PP300.jpg
