Pan's Labyrinth

have any of you seen Pan's Labyrinth? i saw it last night at like 3 AM. Pretty cool movie, I would recommended it.

It is in Spanish (i saw it with subtitles), I'm really starting to appreciate a lot of movies from Spain, France and etc.

It is kinda of a fairy tale / monster kind of movie but made for adults.

yeah, Guillermo del Toro is one of my favorite directors. Alfonso Cuaron is also a good spanish director. he directed Children of Men, which i recommend. French director Luc Besson is also one of my favorites.

my favorite part in Pan's is when the little girl confronts the monster with eyeballs on it's palms....freakin weird.

Same here. Never used to like watching movies from other countries cuz of the subtitling... but Pan's was pretty good. Apocalypo, also subtitlled, was also pretty good....very gory! Another favorite subtitled movie i liked was Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon...and lets not forget Amelie!!!

Pan's is on my list of foreign movies to watch.

City of God (Cidade de Deus) is a great movie that I just saw recently.

I've heard great things about it, but missed it in theaters and don't rent movies much, so I haven't seen it yet. Want to, though.
