The Kite Runner
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hossenini;
I just picked up this book and I'm on the 7th chapter and I have to say its a spectacular novel so far. Its about a boy growing up in Afghanistan during the Russian invasion in the 1970s. I recommend this book for anyone; its the #1 New York Times bestseller.

I've heard good things about The Kite Runner. Anyone read "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand? If not, you must!

The Kite Runner was one of my favorite books, it was a warming story.
But still, my favorite book of all time... "The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien

^^ no puffy I never herd of it, what is it about?
My favorite books are Kaffir Boy, To Kill A Mocking Bird, and The Catcher In The Rye. As of now Kite Runner has a chance to be up there!

yeah Boo Radly wasn’t really described as much as he should have been. I guess he came out of hiding and became normal? I also adore the book.

I had to read The Kite Runner during my senior year in high school. I didn't finish it, but hey I still passed the class lol. From what I read it was a really good book, they even produced a movie for it, not sure how close it follows the book or if it is any good though.

The author is coming to my university this year, im going to have him autograph my copy. Right now im reading it on my free time I just started this week and I love it so far.
