Farewell, mon ami

Shane Michael Korte was one of my dearest friends. One of the funniest, most intelligent and smart-witted people I know. The reason I post this here is because he introduced me to someone very special, Alizée. He added a video to his favorites I took a look at out of curiosity, and that started this whole journey. Shane & I hung out all the time, introduced each other to a lot of great music, went to concerts together and did all out school projects together.

This guy knew everything about history, he was a complete whiz. He was a lot of fun to be around, we shared the same sense of humor and had a lot of good times together.

Shane passed away last night from a car accident. Since he introduced me to Alizée, I thought i'd share this with you all because an Alizée fan is no longer with us. But more than anything I was a fan of Shane Korte.

That's great that he introduced you to Alizée, but this gets to me because he seems like such a great guy. I hope the good memories of Shane get his family and friends through this tough time. Farewell, Mr. Korte.

It's always a pain to lose a companion.

I am sorry for your loss. I lost a friend some years ago and I know it's tough. Especially when you think this friend will be with you through your whole life, and then suddenly they are gone. Rest in peace, Shane...

Wow I couldn't imagine what it would be like to lose your best bud, sorry for yours and the families loss. R.I.P. Shane our fellow Alizée fan.

puffyrock2, there's no doubt that family and friends feel the loss the worst, but it's clear that we feel it here as well.

Shane was so young.... incredibly sad.
