Alizee-sick
I need to just say something, I miss Alizee.
I'm sorry, but the young Alizee was so vibrant, beautiful, perky and bright. Now shes getting dull, spacey and odd. I'm sorry but I can't call her sexy and theres barely any ounce of sex appeal within her. Shes still beautiful, cuz that could never change. But look, just take a good look. Look at her dancing to J'en ai marre, and look at her now, she'll probably never do that dance again and has become a different person. In fact, she looks so different. It's actually weird to see how she looks now, because she is just so different looking that at times it's hard to believe thats really her. Second, what the hell is wrong with her? Why is she wearing the strangest things? Tatoos? Guady sneakers? What happened to heels and tights? When I first EVER saw alizee, she was dancing to J'en ai marre, and my impression of her was pleasent, that's the whole reason I liked her, because she was peppy, pleasent and gorgeous. But now, I don't know what to think... I just think that I lost her, and I miss her. But don't think I'm crying in a fetal position here, life will go on and the world isn't over. I know that people go through changes, especially when they get married and have children fast, and I accept that. But I just can't believe how much she's changed, it's a little sad. |

Well, to each his own. As I've said several times, I find the new Alizée far, far more appealing than the old one.
Heels and tights? She's worn exactly that to some performances recently, but I don't think she's ever worn them offstage, certainly not often, and more power to her! The tattoo? I like it. I think it's cool. (Glad she removed the tongue piercing, though.) "Barely an ounce of sex appeal?" Are we talking about the same woman? Or do you just prefer teenage girls? Some guys do. I don't know if she'll ever do the JEAM dance again and frankly I don't care; she'll move on to new dance routines but if you want to see that old one, the old videos haven't disappeared. Dull? She's much more interesting in her interviews than she used to be, IMO. Spacey, well, she was always a bit of that, so that isn't a change. I think her performances could use some improvement lately and I've said so, but apart from that, no, I don't miss the old Alizée. I like the new one better. You're entitled to your opinion, of course. But don't expect everyone else to share it.

hi
it's probably because she's an adult now, that's why she's changed the fact that she got tattoos and stuff isn't that important after all cheers

Same here. But there are points in my day where I say ok enough Lilly Town and I turn the stereo from loud to louder and put on Moi Lolita. Thats the best.

Oh dieu!! I can't believe she got a tongue piercing. I did NOT know this. I hope it was just a stupid mistake, that beautiful girl does NOT need a tongue piercing.

Quote:
I had a feeling she'd get rid of it before her comeback. A tongue piercing is only good for one thing, and it achieves that at the expense of anything else you might want to do with your mouth (like sing). And it's definitely gone now; we saw her stick her tongue way out in that short interview and there was no metal in it.

I agree with MesGourmandises; Alizée's old image was a lot better than her current one. Yes, she still has an image, and is still playing a role. There is no such thing as being yourself, and thus Alizée is not being herself. You can only try to make yourself into what appeals to you, and one's appeals change drastically over time. By "being herself," Alizée is merely playing the part of who she'd like to be.
Don't fret, though, MesGourmandises. Alizée will change, possibly because she will find something that appeals to her more, or because she will have reflected on what she is right now and revise her role. I see a definite major change by the time the next album rolls around, if not sooner.

She got married and had a family. That screws up more women. Once they bag a meal ticket opps I mean a husband they go down hill from there
All kidding aside she grew up and mellowed with age. She doesn't have the care free attitude that a young teenagers normally have. She has responsibilities now with a husband and child that need her constant attention. Tattoo's well how often do you see a women under 30 yr old with out a tattoo. I would say that 3/4 of the women working for me under 35 have tattoo's somewhere on their body. In the entertainment industry, ink seems to be very popular. Have you seen what the younger generation is wearing today? I have several employees with young high school and college age girls and you should see the outfits they wear. When we see Alizée promoting her new CD she is dressing for the media and the television cameras. Look at what she gets caught on the street wearing in those paparazzi and fan photos. They're normal cloths nothing that different from the cloths other women around her are wearing. Last edited by ALS; 01-23-2008 at 06:54 PM.. |
