Funny, that's almost exactly what I said when I first found out.
Uhg, getting ill reading about airfare and such from fsquared. Oh my god, imagining actually doing this is making my head spin. Ok, so a couple Americans show up. This could be better than a concert as far as the chance of actually meeting Alizée goes. I wonder if any news press would be interested in Americans coming for such a small chance just to see Alizée. She's only going to do like one song, probably. I hope someone does it and looks like an obvious American and gets on tv or something. T'would be good publicity, I think. I can't believe she will not be doing a concert somewhere in the future, though. Also seems likely that she will go to Mexico. That seems to be one of her bigger markets. She friggin went to Japan back in the day. What's going to stop her? They're spending a million just on ads, right? This is a bit scary to think about going to a foreign country without someone to "hold my hand". Mommy, help, I can't understand French (let alone all the rules and customs)! It is kind of crazy to think about doing this on "short notice" for such a minor show and one must actually get a ticket too, let's not forget! That's probably the hardest part, yes? I half want to go just to try to get some pub. for Alizée (and all the peeps here in the states). Throw another American flag on stage? - sorry to offend anyone with that statement. I have a big American flag hanging off my house. I know that's not proper treatment, but sometimes... Cooney, you are the man. Keep me/us informed. My biggest barrier to doing this is that I'm a big wussy (oops, and I just remembered, I may be having some passport "issues" around that time.) Does anyone know for sure if one needs a passport to get there or back? Hey, alright, check out there site in English:"A WARM WELCOME TO THOSE WITH LIMITED MOTOR CONTROL" I think that's just what I would need by the time I got there. Holly hell, I always forget the camera. I need a better camera though, my camera is nice and compact, but I don't think it is Lili worthy. And/or Need at least 4 more spare batteries too.

Guys, don't be afraid of going to another country. Most of the time, people are going to be willing to help you find your way around. Everyone has a bad day sometimes, so you might find someone thats rude, most of the people I've met in my travels have been very willing to assist. Remember too, you might meet another Alizée fan!

They do allow cell phones.
I would expect at least a half set, say 6-8 songs. Will give her a great chance to try out her new sound on stage, while not having to sing any of the old stuff. |
