Riots
 The French are rioting! The government has raised the retirement age two years and people are flipping out! Could this hurt or help Alizée? Is it completely unrelated?  Social unrest has helped many US stars. Supporting causes and helping the French people could bring attention to her. Do you think she's considering it? What's you're opinion? Could she use this to her advantage? Support protests? Become the voice of the people? Tell me your thoughts! Are the riots bringing attention to French culture?

I would say for her to stay out of it. It looks like most of the people are 20 - 30 so why are they rioting? They can change it a little bit later and it wont effect them.

Look at Lady Gaga (shudder) she uses many protests to her advantage. Not saying this is the best one to use, but if another protest should come along, are you sure it won't help her? Could she use it?
 ^As you can see, this is a pretty big deal. I mean she could help the public by supporting a common cause, should a reasonable one come along for her. Guys, if she got into this, she could all of a sudden end up with a target on her head, and then we would all have to fly over and devise a plan to kidnap her and bring her to the US and out of harm's way. Then we would get her a home and have her sing for us and then launch a tour for her

 Old times french riots were more glamourous, i thought... And I can easily imagine how Alizee could contributing to it....  .

 Seriously -- Alizée's pattern seems not to get into politics. She performs for causes but it's always humanitarian stuff. We don't even know how she voted in the last election. I don't see any problem with her adopting a stance on an issue that she believes in and going public with it but it would be very unlike anything she's done before and I don't think it should be expected. I would also in passing comment that this thread is bordering on transgressing a board rule. Just because it's French rather than American politics doesn't mean it's not politics.
