Spreading the word and your conversion rate

So how many people are aware of lili and her existence because of you? How many people have become lili fanatics because of you? Share how many you have spread the word to and your conversion rate. Here's mine:

I have only known lili for less than three months myself. Let's see you guys' numbers!

nobody has laughed at me yet, but then i've been sort of careful with people i pick, people that can respect my tastes. well i do have one friend that knows how fanatical i have gotten, and tells me that he's worried about me everytime i bring up lili. but i know what you mean; for example, i gave my sister lili CD couple months ago and she listens to it in her car but she has no idea who she is. i think she might be one of the people that might laugh, so i'm holding back at the moment. i'm just waiting for the right moment to reveal to her about alizee.

I too am careful about people who I show Alizee too. I did however show the JEAM and La Is la Bonita video to a friend or two, and they all have commented on how beautiful she is, but nothing more. The thing is for every fan of Alizee there are probably 1000 others who aren't interested in her or her music, they might comment on how pretty she is but nothing else. I think what gets most people is the barrier in language. I do have other people that I can probably show Alizee to like my co-workers, but I guess I am just waiting for the right moment. I did play a song or two.....when they weren't around.

I haven't kept track, but I've told lots of people. The most common response is "nice legs."

Erm, 1 out of 4,107, which makes 0.024%

About 20 expressed 'wow' which is a better 0.49%.

Although to be honest I was trying to promote Alizée on possibly the most Francophobic website on the planet.

She got her own appreciation thread and was even put forward as a 'pin-up' for the site (neither instagated by me!).

I haven't made any attempt at "conversion" so to speak, I just talk incessantly about her. I don't like when others try to convert me, regardless of subject, so I try to avoid consciously doing it to others.

As far as people who are aware of her now, where they weren't before... uhh... I think we're looking in the range of a dozen or so people. Responses have ranged from "Daaaaaannnnnggggg" (spoken by my female boss when she saw a photo I had as my desktop) up the way to recognizing her music (My mother, 3500 miles away, watched the movie "A Good Year." Shortly afterwards, she called me and said "Hey, I heard Alizée in a movie I just watched!")

Most of my female coworkers have similar reactions. They jokingly refer to Alizée as my "girlfriend." The first time one of my other female coworkers (a very straight one, mind you) saw the pic, she immediately said, "Shoot, I wish she was my girlfriend!"

Most of the guys don't say anything though, they're usually busy trying not to step on their own jaws.
