Somehow this came up in one of my news infos.
A young Bobcat had run across road in Florida , near the everglades and had unfortunately got struck by a car. He was dazed and possibly hurt; but the person left him in the road and drove off. But then a Sheriff' Deputy happened along and took the Bobcat out of the road and to a Veterinary to get him some help!
You might think they are a Housecat if you see one, but they are not and will Bite and Claw you if you try to pick one up as they are wild ! They have really pointy ears and you can usually tell them by the wild eyes and the whiskers growing out of their ears ( like the movie 'Gremlins' ).
The Deputy was able to pick him up by a blanket and a thick glove they have for animals. BobCatTwo.jpg

Bobcats usually stay well hidden as they are small Predators and even guys who go into the everglades or the forests rarely see one, although many states Have thousands of them in the wild. It is not known how many are in Florida; as it is impossible to count them in the everglades !

It's actually rare to see one ! Being a small Predator they hide from the larger Predators and man ! One crew was plowing the snow from a forest trail in Canada; when a large one came out of the forest to look at their Plow. They got into the Cabin to eat their lunch; while the Bobcat climbed around their big plow and came up to look in the front window at them.
But this is unusual; so he finally jumped off and went back into the forest !

Some will say; as with dogs, the Bigger the Paw, the Bigger the animal will be , when full grown !

Yes Scruffy ! This Bobcat must have been Dazed or hurt; so that it allowed the Deputy to pick him up ! Otherwise; it might have been like trying to pick up the Tasmanian devil in the cartoons , who would tear you apart ! Ha !

You might think you are safe near the Hollywood sign; but you are Not !

He ranges on both sides of the California expressways; but he must cross them at 3 AM; because of all the traffic.
a Scientist was concerned about him; so somehow she got funding to build an animal bridge over the freeways so animals could cross over it without getting hit ! Hikers might find it there; but they are told, "This is an animal Bridge ! So if you try to cross it you might run into a mountain lion or a bear !"
A Trail camera had caught the Mountain Lion prowling around !
Update...Unfortunately P-22 was found dead of natural causes and so the scientists were going to take specimens of him; but the local indian tribes threatened to go on the warpath and demanded that they be allowed to bury the Puma with full tribal honors; so the scientists had to agree and he got a full ceremonial send-off !

Since Taylor is coming to France sometime this year; these are her Cat's Names

Benjamin Button is after a movie by Brad Pitt.
Olivia is after Mariska Hargety's Detective name in Law and Order,SVU , tv show.
Meredith Gray's name is from Ellen Pompeo's character in "Grey's Anatomy"
A couple cats are "Scottish Fold" cats whose ears don't always stand up !

Mariska got revenge on Taylor by naming her Cat "Karma" after a Taylor song ! Ha!

Taylor ; last I heard , was trying to learn French, but she hadn't quite got it yet !

I don't play her songs much, as I didn't like the early ones, but I'll have to try the new ones sometime.
I kinda like her because she is a nice person; rather than her songs !

Taylor has a nice voice and I like her as a person but her music doesn't grab me in the way Alizée's does or in the way an Irish singer's does, that I found out about last year, that beiing Allie Sherlock.

When I lived in Georgia, I used to see a lot of these tractor trailers with the short trailers. They were called bobcats.

If I was as rich as Taylor, I'd probably have a few houses here and there too. I just hopes she doesn't sing any songs or make any statements about the environmnet. Carbon credits just give the rich a way to just keep polluting the planet.

Yes I remember hearing about those ! BobCats !

And somebody has said Taylor has really used up the Carbon Credits cause she has flown about 300,000 miles or something on the world tour !
