There are very few places in the US where HIGH-PAID live entertainment is booked on a regular basis. As for classy, long after the US shed business suits for blue jeans and tie-dye teeshirts, Las Vegas remained a bastion of tuxedos and evening gowns - not to mention elaborately expensive sequin-studded showgirl outfits, complete with ostrich feathers.

Hint: What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!
The couple have celebrated the marital ceremony without the baggage of French marriage law or any religious tradition or conflict. ("No family members were harmed during the creation of this marriage.")

Las Vegas may be shallow, but NO one would call it cheap! How much do you think it costs to erect a 1/2-scale model of the Eiffel Tower?
And you forgot to mention an important thing - which came as a surprise to me when I visited there for the first time a couple decades ago. The sidewalks are more full of respirator-assisted elderly people who are being pushed on wheelchairs than even the biggest Miami-area retirement community!

Who does... sniffle?
Does anyone know if Atlantic City really has a place to match a Vegas hotel as a show venue? Alizée loves the shore and there was even a Jacotey living there a century ago!
P.S. Has anyone yet found the "s" which fell off from the thread title?
