Since they didn't register their marriage in France thus, not "officially" married there, may be they based it on the fact that Alizee moved out of their studio/apartment in Paris and moved back to Ajaccio.

Maybe this was not intended to be a stunt, but as long as it is working out that way and getting her press, why say anything that would stop it.

I agree. Aside from that, it's just too early. Like I've mentioned in previous post, had this thing happened within days or weeks of her new album's release, then we know for sure it's just a publicity stunt for both of them.
