Corsica storm Fabien
I believe I mentioned this in another thread but I decided to post it here too. Corsica, not to mention Spain, Portugal and mainland France were recently hit by a bad storm named Fabien. It set some records for wind on the island and closed the airport at Ajaccio on the 21st.
It closed when the nearby Gravona river had a record flood. The airport was supposed to conduct a test landing today (28th) to see if the runway could be reopened. AJACCIO AIRPORT.jpg ajaccio river.jpg
