MJ may not be LSD but that doesn't make it a good thing. I have friends who have this dependence on pot and have screwed up their lives.

Yeah I hate when people say MJ is okay since its not addicting which is quite the contrary. Yes, its not physically addicting, but it definitely is mentally addicting because since people say its a good feeling they keep wanting to do more and more, therefore making it addicting.
