As for the Canadians, read about the Dieppe raid in 1942 which gave the Allies valuable lessons in how to conduct D-Day in June 1944.

Edcognito, I'm doing a dissertation on firefighting / damage control in the RN / USN especially round the time you were in (Falklands / Malvinas and all that), have you got time to answer a few questions on your training?
I'll PM you if that's okay, DC + FF can get a bit exciting for Alizée diehards.
You can reach me through the mail here, or send me a mail here, and i will send you my e-mail - I don't do much voice chat stuff, except in WoW.

P.S. - Helped to load up the HMS Antelope in Charleston just before she went down there... Sorry for the lose.

Watch out subs 5 miles away: <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/vLxgrQHAugQ&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/vLxgrQHAugQ&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

I don't think infantry and MP still uses it but I think it might be still used in the special forces. But I like the Colt as well, the Berreta is a good handgun but its kind of bulky. My uncle has one and its kind of bulky around the handle imo.

Colt hasn't been used since the US military went to the berretta... There might be a couple still in use at this late date, but i doubt it......
