Double Jointed?
I've noticed this before, but I don't remember (my memory isn't very good) seeing anything posted on it, but Alizée is double jointed at the elbow (and may have other doubles, as well). I didn't really think much on this until it dawned on me that her JEAM dance makes use of the flex.
It is also the reason why no one can do it. It's not a matter of practice or dedication or effort. If your elbow can't double extend, you can't do the dance...no matter how well you can dance otherwise.

No wonder I hated most of those JEAM tributes...
I never did spot why I hated them so much, they just felt like they lacked something, perhaps a move or a smile, but I believe this contributes to one of the fienst reasons why I dread JEAM tributes.
